Events at Akoma Coffee & Books

Food and Beverage Options

• Coffee or tea service for up to 15 guests is $40.
• Pastry service for 15 guests is $90.
• Additional quantities, food and catering are quoted after event requirements are reviewed.
• Outside caterers require prior approval, appropriate insurance and the applicable hold-harmless agreement.

Bar, Entertainment and Priví Approval

• Bar service carries a $200 pouring-license fee. The approved host supplies the alcohol.
• Alcohol, bar service, DJs, live music, amplified sound, larger vendor setups, and use of the Commons or Priví Event Center require applicable Priví approval.

Spaces and Capacity

• Inside Akoma: approximately 40 guests.
• Priví Commons: approximately 75–80 guests.
• Priví Event Center: up to approximately 400 guests.
• Commons and Event Center arrangements are separately approved and priced.

How Booking Works

1. Submit the Akoma event request form.
2. We review your requirements, availability, pricing and any Priví approvals.
3. You receive approved written terms.
4. Your date is confirmed only after the required 50% deposit is received.

Available equipment and setup support are confirmed in the written event terms.
